On her journey through the south of La Guajira, Wayuu senator announces works

The main problems exposed have to do with solid waste collection, the municipality’s aqueduct, productive projects for rural areas and the strengthening of educational infrastructure.

At this meeting, the senator was accompanied by the director of ComfaGuajira, Ana Zojaira Camargowho announced the start of construction of 26 social housing units in the municipality. Peralta also gave the good news that the facilities of the La Esperanza health centre will be remodelled very soon.

Likewise, Peralta Epieyu promised to manage the adaptation of the sound and recording system of the Municipal Council: “The Council must have optimal conditions to hold the most important debates in the community“, he said.

Finally, the congresswoman promised to take all these initiatives to the highest government level, which seek to improve the quality of life of the people of Urumi, a municipality that for years was the agricultural pantry of La Guajira, and that today deserves to once again be a fertile land of high productivity. “We continue working in the region with great motivation,” she said.
