The governor of Chubut, Ignacio Torres, announced this Friday that on July 31, the draw for Solidarity Sports Telebingo will be held from the town of Gaiman, a proposal carried out by the Government of the Province to financially support clubs, entities and sports institutions throughout the Chubut territory.

In this edition, the initiative “once again travels through the interior of the province” and includes the presentation of local artists who will be selected by the citizens themselves. “From the first minute, this Government has been committed to defending, promoting and fostering sports and culture, thus strengthening our identity as Chubut residents,” said the provincial leader.

In this regard, it is worth noting that a total of 60,000 tickets were distributed to more than 280 sports organizations throughout Chubut, which will benefit from 70% of the value of each sale. It is also important to note that the remaining percentage will be allocated to the IAS, to cover the costs of the corresponding prizes.

The governor’s announcement was made this afternoon in the Drawing Room of the Social Assistance Institute – Chubut Lottery together with the head of the organization, Ramiro Ibarra; the Undersecretary of Culture, Osvaldo Labastié; the president of Chubut Deportes, Milton Reyes and the director of Gaiman Sports, Marcos Escobar; among other officials, athletes and leaders of different clubs and entities.

Social containment

In dialogue with the media, the head of the provincial Executive highlighted “the joint and inter-ministerial work that we have been carrying out from the different state organizations to put the clubs in the place where they should be.”

After referring to the support of sports institutions in “the daily work of social containment”, as was the case of the Bigornia Club of Rawson that gave up its facilities to accommodate the neighbors affected by the inclement weather of the last few days, the president considered that many times “the State alone cannot reach places where the clubs play a fundamental role, since it is the sports clubs themselves that teach citizenship and provide support to the youngest”.

In this regard, he said that “we understand that joint work has to be a medium and long-term State policy,” and in this sense he highlighted the implementation of a program “in which we have been delving into to help clubs with tariff increases.”

Torres also praised “the daily work they do with a deep vocation for service, dedicating time, putting money out of their own pockets,” and conveyed that “our Government is here to support them in difficult times like these that we are experiencing.”

In the final section of his message, the president indicated that “the growth in sales of Solidarity Sports Telebingo was exponential,” and stressed the importance of it being held again in towns in the interior of the province. In that sense, he stressed that “doing the draw in Gaiman, on the occasion of commemorating the 150 years of the founding of said town, is something to celebrate” and added that “it is going to be a very nice moment for all the people of Chubut.”

Culture and sport

On the other hand, the president of the Institute of Social Assistance (IAS), Ramiro Ibarra, pointed out that “Solidarity Sports Telebingo has not been in the interior of the province for several years” and indicated that, on this occasion, “a beautiful town like Gaiman, which is also turning 150 years old.”

The official also highlighted that in this edition, “the Undersecretariat of Culture is joining this proposal, linking two institutions that offer a lot for our youth and bringing Telebingo closer to society and the people of Chubut.”

Call for artists and bands from Chubut

In turn, the Undersecretary of Culture, Osvaldo Labastié, gave details of the initiative that will allow a band or artist from the province to perform on July 31 at the Solidarity Sports Telebingo. In this context, he highlighted that “there are already more than 50 musicians who sent their video clip to the email [email protected]” and indicated that between July 1 and 5 “they will be able to continue adding their productions.”

He also explained that “Chubut Suena is a bank of video clips that we put together from the Undersecretariat to have in one centralized place the artists who started their career and already have the montage. In this slogan, the objective is to bring together the best of the musicians and the audiovisual productions and use them as a tool to be able to select the band or artists who will be able to perform at the Telebingo.”

Regarding the selection, the official revealed that “from July 10 to 19, the entire community will be able to vote online for which is the best band,” and finally on the 22nd of that same month “the announcement of the chosen band will be made.” , which will be playing live on July 31 during the Telebingo Deportivo draw, and will also be awarded a prize of $1,000,000 from the Chubut Lottery.
