On Saturday, July 6, the National Andinism Palestra will be held, which is located in the CeNARDa climbing “festival” in the city, organized by the Centro Andino Buenos Aires (CABA)

Also taking place on that same day and space – sponsored by the Municipality of the City of Buenos Aires – are the “Porteños Games”, a sports and collaborative competition, aimed at children from 4 to 18 years old.

This entire mega-event of climbing sport takes place in the unique urban arena where it is possible to climb on large stone walls, 20 meters high, using ropes and techniques similar to mountain climbing.

Authoritarians don’t like this

The practice of professional and critical journalism is a fundamental pillar of democracy. That is why it bothers those who believe they are the owners of the truth.

The event sponsored by CABA is open at all ages and requires prior registration. The competition and demonstrations will take place in different modalities of this sport, such as top rope climbing and bouldering.

“Save Cenard”: Athletes marched to condemn the move of the venue

During the afternoon there will also be raffles and prizes for the competitors and a competition to choose the most original climbing clothing and the best protective helmet decoration.
