Matanzas residents await a summer of fun

Matanzas, Cuba.- Joy will distinguish the summer in the province of Matanzas with cultural, sporting and recreational activities for the family, and the beginning with the Casino Wheels Festival, in the Viaduct, performed by the Adalberto Álvarez orchestra and his sound.
About twenty groups from Cuba and other countries participate in the Atenas Rock Festival, run by the Hermanos Saiz Association, with photography and tattoo exhibitions, film shows, performances and a theoretical event.
For this summer Saturday in Matanzas, the presentation of Alejandría, a work by playwright Ulises Rodríguez Febles, is scheduled for Teatro D’ Sur in the Sala El Mirón Cubano, and on Sunday at 4 pm.
The Street of Puppets will be dedicated to children, along with other activities in parks, public squares and communities with professional and amateur artists and members of the José Martí Brigade of Art Instructors.
