Until next holiday Monday, July 1st, the Fair Coliseum will host what is the most important agricultural fair in Ibagué. The 56th edition of the Grade A Agricultural, Industrial and Bovine Fair, which is committed to entrepreneurship, local gastronomy and the best bovine and equine specimens, among others.

This year, according to calculations, close to 100 thousand visitors are expected, floating during the four days of the fair, added to the 60 rural entrepreneurs and more than 300 animals that will be part of the bovine exhibition.

“This fair has a purpose: to move the economy of the commune that is in the hearts of all Ibagué residents. In addition, thousands of tourists await it, so we must be the best hosts; here we are raising the name of the Musical Capital and the Agroindustrial Fair very high,” said Mayor Johana Aranda, adding that this event is a space to share with family and for merchants to activate their productive units.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy smaller species such as sheep, cattle, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs, concerts, horse shows, a food area, businesses and a farm.

Likewise, at night the plan will be with Orlando Liñán, La 33, Juan Carlos Zarabanda, Los Nuevos Corraleros, Rayos de México tribute, Klásica orchestra, Yeison Jiménez emulator, vallenato groups, papayeras and disc jockey shows.

“This Saturday, June 29, you will be able to enjoy a cattle exhibition and judging, a dairy competition, an equine show, a tribute to Rayos de México, the La 33 orchestra, and a vallenato group. On Sunday, June 30, we will have on the agenda: cattle judging, dairy competition awards, a motorcycle and equestrian show by Juan Rafael Restrepo, Juan Carlos Zarabanda, Orlando Liñán, and local artists,” said Manuela Gómez, Infibagué’s Financing Director.

“On Monday, July 1, we will have a bovine exhibition, an equine show, an equine and canine show, popular music and a classical orchestra,” the official concluded.
