And from the Museum networks you can also access the QR code of the historical narrative “Doña Paula Albarracín. Her life and her plots”, made by Lic. Elina Castro.

Paula Albarracín, mother of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, was born in San Juan on June 27, 1774. About her, Sarmiento wrote in Memories of the Province: “The mother is for man the personification of providence, she is the living earth to which she adheres the heart like roots to the ground. Mine, however, God knows, is worthy of the honors of apotheosis, and I would not have written these pages, if I had not been encouraged by the desire to make, in the last years of his hard-worked life, this vindication against the injustice of luck”.
