The senator of the Green Alliance party, Andrea Padilla Villarragapublished a video on the social network state of the animal, while lying on the ground.
“Violence against animals in the San Pedro festivities in Neiva. These are the parades defended by the drunks, the thugs, the miserable abusers! A parade that was in charge of the Government of Huila,” the senator announced.

According to Padilla, the horse was treated after fainting “due to exhaustion and heat stroke. The one in the second video is a mare that, apparently, was thrown into the river after dying.”
The senator rejected the case and sent a strong message to society for the good of animals.

“How to defend this cruelty, this mean and merciless attitude towards the animals? Do you really think it is a cultural practice that deserves to be preserved? We know that in Congress we do not have support to ban them. We hope, however, that they support the project we are filing to regulate them strictly and ruthlessly, for the good of the animals and public order,” he argued.
