The Director of Tourism Development of Córdoba, Mario Armida, presented in Salta the Winter season from the capital of Cordoba. The proposal includes historical, religious, gastronomic and wellness tourism in addition to being a shopping destination.
“Córdoba de Invierno has a standing heritage of 400 years. It is a city that goes through all of our history,” Armida expressed to Chain 3He also highlighted theme parks and open cultural spaces as the main attractions.
Armida also highlighted the commercial area of Plaza San Martín and the emblematic Güemes district as strong points of local tourism. “We are, by law, the national capital of golf, with our airport, with great infrastructure, with our hotels,” she highlighted.

Regarding tourist rates, Armida said that a lot of work is being done to offer good prices without neglecting quality and service. “I have a product with price and quality,” she said.
The official launch of the season will be held in the North Market. According to Armida: “We are going to put Córdoba within the market of what shopping and walks are today.”
It should be noted that one of the objectives is to break with the summer seasonality and promote gastronomic, cultural and outdoor proposals throughout the year.
As for the official start of the winter season, it will take place during the celebrations for the 451st anniversary of the birthday of Córdoba Capital on July 6. It is still being decided in which sector of the city the launch will take place.
Finally, Armida mentioned that there are permanent activities in Córdoba: “We have permanent events, sporting, gastronomic, cultural, theatrical. In addition, a very important fact, in beautiful Córdoba there is the image of the Virgin of the Miracle.”
