Chile Vamos delivered the list of candidates for the upcoming elections for regional governors and mayors in Tarapacascheduled for October 27.
The coalition, composed of Evópoli, Renovación Nacional and the UDI, reached key agreements in several communes in the region.
For the regional governorship, the candidate will be Natan Olivos, former governor and former delegate of Tamarugal, representing the UDI. As for the mayoralties, the candidates selected by Chile Vamos are:
- High Hospice: Ramon Galleguillos
- Huara: Jose Bartolo
- Iquique: Ximena Naranjo
- Pica: Ivan Infante
- Almonte Well: Giovana Poveda
UDI President Javier Macaya stressed the importance of these candidates in the context of Chile Vamos’ national strategy for the upcoming elections. “Our objective is clear: to put an end to bad left-wing governments. This list represents a great step and a great agreement within our coalition,” said Macaya.
In addition, he emphasized that the coalition will continue to work with other opposition parties to arrive with a single candidate in each commune and thus offer a solid and united alternative to voters.
