Programming

Management with Fontur
I think that was one of the first steps we were able to take in the future. From the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, we thank you very much for your support, there we can manage a resource of 400 million pesos that they have been in charge of something as special as the promotion of the festivals because that is also something of Fontur’s management that they bring to bear on the topic of tourism and show here in another way beyond let’s say the institutional, so it has been a promotion very cool and it was a management that we managed to do from the beginning of the year and I always said that management can be done, it has to be done, you have to put in the time, you have to invest the budget obviously there we had to put in a counterpart of 100 million pesos to be able to have the other 400 total 500 million pesos.

National Coffee Reign, 16 candidates
It has already started with a program led by the National Coffee Festival Civic Corporation with the different parades and Obviously the evening of election and coronation and a number of activities, the election will be on Sunday, June 30.
The Yipao parade on Sunday, June 30
There are more than 130 jeeps registered, and something that we do that doesn’t, I don’t know why they previously charged registration to the Yipao, we said no, there is no reason to charge so of course, many people came to register to participate and obviously there are some prizes that are going to be won, for those who compete in each of the categories, but that’s it. We believe that maintaining it as the iconic event of the National Coffee Festival because it undoubtedly continues to be the backbone of the festival is what brings us the greatest number of people. The Coffee Cultural Landscape parade is very important, it is very beautiful. There are all the true expressions of the attributes of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, but the one that brings the most is the Yipao so we expect this year more than 25,000 people to join us on Sunday.
Concerts
The concerts will be in the platform in the Plaza de Bolívar On Friday we will have Charrito Negro and Óscar Mosquera from Calarcá, also we are promoting local talent, on Saturday we will have Luis Hernández who is the former vocalist of Los Inquietos del Vallenato and we will close the night with Dálmata, the Puerto Rican reggaeton singer, very classic of our time, on Sunday with Chico Jaramillo and closing in salsa with David Pavón and on Monday we will have Los Chiches Vallenatos also in the Plaza de Bolívar along with other local artists, but alternating that, we will have the Concha Acústica in the Las Partidas sector where there we will have popular local artists and we will always close with an orchestra,
Saturday 29th, Calarcá’s birthday
On Saturday we will do a thanksgiving, and special recognition to the church, San José for the 100 years that it is an icon of the city, in addition to the delivery of distinctions to different personalities of Calarcá.
