With deep pain and sadness, Carlos Romero He remembered his aunt Digna Garcia, who was hit by a stray bullet while she was on the terrace of her home in the Santo Domingo de Guzmán neighborhood, in Barranquilla.

The 59-year-old woman died on Friday afternoon as a result of the wound caused by the projectile.

Romero told Zero zone what his aunt Digna was like, whom he also considered his mother. “A very happy person, in all cases very giving, she gave everything for her family, for her children and as I consider her, a mother who raised me. She was also a person who was very kind to her neighbors, she was very open to everything”.

Carlos explained that his aunt was at the door of the house with her sister when suddenly the shooting occurred and that was when the tragedy occurred.

The reason for this confrontation is still unknown.

Relatives ask the authorities “that justice be done and more security. “It is what is asked for and it is what is rarely seen here in Barranquilla”.
