Afiniaa subsidiary of the EPM Group, reported this Saturday, June 29 that From July 1 to 3, optimization work will be carried out to strengthen the electrical infrastructure of the Cesar departmentmaking it necessary to interrupt the power service in several municipalities of the department.
The company explained that the service will be interrupted at the following times and municipalities.
MONDAY JULY 1
-Rural area of Valledupar: The operators will work on the Valencia de Jesús Urbano circuit from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, installing measuring equipment in the Finca Santa Rosa sector on the road to Los Calabozos.
TUESDAY JULY 2
-Valledupar: in Valledupar the operational team will continue with the installation of measurement elements in the transformers, actions that demand the suspension of the electricity supply from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, on Carrera 35 with Calle 7 in the La Rioja Urbanization sector. From 10:50 am to 12:20 pm, on Carrera 19D with Calle 7, Los Músicos neighborhood sector.
Likewise, they will work in the Valencia de Jesús district from 7:10 am to 9:10 am, in Carrera 3 with Calle 2. From 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, in Carrera 3 with Calle 3, Cemetery sector. From 3:10 pm to 4:40 pm, on Carrera 3 and Calle 4 in the San Juan Bautista neighborhood.
-Agustín Codazzi: In order to continue with the installation of new equipment, service must be interrupted from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, on Carrera 4B with Calle 13, La Victoria neighborhood sector. From 1:20 pm to 2:50 pm, on Carrera 5 and Calle 13, La Victoria neighborhood sector. From 3:40 pm to 5:10 pm, on Carrera 28 with Calle 10, Atanasio Girardot neighborhood sector.
-Becerril: Work will continue on renovating the electrical infrastructure with the installation of new poles and medium voltage assemblies. Technical pruning work will also be carried out, which is why it is necessary to suspend power from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Trujillo and San José neighborhoods.
-Curumaní rural area: Afinia’s operational team will continue with the installation of measuring elements in the transformers, actions that require the suspension of the energy service from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., on Calle 2 with Carrera 1, Vereda El Mamey sector. From 11:15 am to 3:15 am in the Mata Guillin area in Chimichagua.
-Step: The work of taking oil samples in transformers will continue, actions that demand the suspension of the service from 9:30 am to 10:00 am in Carrera 4 with Calle 7 sector of the Cuatro Vientos Corregimiento.
-Pailitas: Operational personnel will install equipment on the network, so the power will be suspended from 10:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., at 10th Street and 11th Avenue in the Los Fundadores neighborhood. From 1:50 p.m. to 3:20 p.m., at 1A Street and 5A Avenue in the Jorge Eliecer Gaitán neighborhood. From 4:10 p.m. to 5:40 p.m., at 2nd Street and 8th Avenue in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 3
-Pailitas: The technical team will install measuring elements in transformers, activities for which the electricity supply will be suspended from 7:40 am to 9:10 am, on Calle 7 with Carrera 7 in the Centro sector. From 10:00 am to 11:30 am, on Carrera 2 and Calle 6, Las Cumbres neighborhood sector. From 1:40 pm to 3:10 pm, on Calle 3 with Carrera 11, La Esperanza neighborhood sector.
