A serious incident was reported at the shopping center Plaza del Sol in Soledad, Atlanticodue to security problems that have generated concern among users of the place. According to witnesses, a mother and her daughter were seriously injured after falling from an escalator that apparently began to malfunction and partially broke loose.
Likewise, some witnesses said that the mall’s security staff did not respond adequately to the emergency, and that those present were even denied the opportunity to take photographs of the incident. However, a citizen managed to capture a video of the state of the escalators after the accident, providing visual evidence of what happened.
The competent authorities and the administration of the shopping center are expected to take Immediate measures to ensure the safety of all visitors and prevent similar incidents in the future.
It should be noted that the person who recorded the video explains that the incident occurred last Sunday, June 23.
