The news behind the viral video: the woman who mistreated a girl in Nicaragua was arrested

A woman originally from Costa Rica, identified as Uwaldrina Siles, has been arrested in Nicaragua after the dissemination of a video showing acts of cruelty. According to information published by the Honduran outlet Radio País, Siles has two children and is in a relationship with a man who suffers from drug addiction.

The woman had reportedly successfully immigrated to Nicaragua shortly before her arrest. However, it is believed that at the time of the acts of cruelty, she was under the influence of drugs. According to what was commented by La Nación (Venezuela) and collected by the Fake News Hunters website, the authorities who ordered her arrest have reason to believe that Siles belongs to a “criminal network.”

The video that led to Siles’s arrest came to the attention of various media and people through social networks. Many shared the video in the hope that the fact will be clarified and the crux of the matter can be reached. Some even claimed that the video showed an act that took place in Misiones or in some other part of Argentina.

However, the situation has already been resolved thanks to the quick action of the Nicaraguan authorities. After the video images were corroborated by the authorities of the Central American country, Uwaldrina Siles was arrested and is currently at the disposal of the local Justice. Although the facts have not been formally adjudicated, Siles’ arrest offers hope that animal cruelty will not be tolerated and that strong action will be taken against those who perpetrate it.
