The Meteorological Directorate of Chile announced possible electrical storms in the area affected by the historic storm that affects a large part of the national territory.
According to the agency, the notice is valid from the night of Wednesday, June 12, until the afternoon of Friday, the 14th in:
- Valparaiso Region (Coastline, Coastal Mountain Range, Precordillera and precordilleran valleys, Cordillera)
- Metropolitan region (Coastal Mountain Range, Valley, Precordillera, Cordillera)
- O’Higgins Region (Coastline, Coastal Range, Valley, Foothills, Mountain Range)
- Maule Region (Coastline, Coastal Range, Valley, Foothills, Mountain Range)
- Ñuble Region (Coastline, Coastal Mountain Range, Valley)
- Biobío Region (Coastline, Coastal Mountain Range)
As a result of this, on Wednesday night there were thunderstorms in Santiago, which were recorded by security cameras.
