Tron: Ares wants to be Disney’s big surprise next year with tremendously good visuals

Although it is low profile, it seems that Disney has high hopes for the launch of Tron: Ares, the third installment of one of the studio’s most acclaimed cult sagas. Although not many details are known about the film, everything indicates that this new installment will once again be a true visual madness.

At least that’s what one of the actors involved says, Cameron Monaghanwho during an interview with the American media Collider revealed that he was impressed with the filming set of Tron: Aresensuring that he even went to the filming set on days he did not work.

“I think this one, in a very similar way, is going to really push what can be done, from a visual perspective. I sometimes even went on days I wasn’t working, because the set was incredible. A lot of the practical sets were phenomenal , and I would love to go see them too.”

Both Tron and Tron:Legacy They have become films that, over time, the public has valued more and more. Both have aged quite well, and everything indicates that this third installment wants to follow that clear line of the saga: becoming an essential film as the years go by.

In the same interview, Monaghan commented that Tron: Legacy is slowly gaining the cult status of the original, thanks mainly to the visual effects and the great Daft Punk soundtrack. Tron: Ares will hit theaters around the world on October 10, 2025.
