I am the guy who will tell you all the latest news in film and television in 3DJuegos. I am passionate about science fiction, fantasy, superheroes and movie curiosities, those little behind-the-scenes stories of the directors and actors we have been following since we were little. My favorite saga? Star Trek. My favorite character? Superman, although lately a little more John Wick. One last thing, I promise not to bore you too much in my topics. LinkedIn

Michelle Yeoh She is another of those actresses destined to become a science fiction legend, at least in terms of the number of projects in which she appears involved. And the Oscar-winning actress for the multiverse-jumping film Everything at Once Everywhere has been recruited to star in the Blade Runner 2099 series, to be released on a date yet to be determined by Prime Video.

It has been Deadline who has advanced this news, adding that to date no details have emerged about either his character or the plot of the series. Denis Villeneuve.

Deadline also explains that the series was expected to begin filming several months ago, however the strikes of scriptwriters and actors that Hollywood went through between mid and late 2023 complicated that work schedule, so much so that the fiction will now be filmed in Prague instead of Belfast as planned. For the moment this is all the information we have.

Before we will see her again in Star Trek

As we said before, Michelle Yeoh is making a name for herself among science fiction fans. Thus, in Star Trek: Discovery she played the character of Philippa Georgiou, empress of the Terran Empire, a role she will resume soon. The actress will also appear in several of the upcoming Avatar films and, looking back, she appeared in the not-so-well-known but superb Sunshine.
