We could have already seen part of the future of the UCM thanks to Netflix

Since it was confirmed that the Marvel series on Netflix would become part of the official canon of the UCM, many viewers and fans have begun to speculate about the return of several superheroes from these programs. The people behind the roles of Jessica Jones and Iron Fist have hinted at their return, but it looks like this table will be missing a leg.

Through an interview with the American media ComicBook, the actor Mike Colter revealed that he has no intention of returning to Marvel to play Luke Cagestating that, although he had a great time, it is something that is now part of the past.

“I don’t stay up at night thinking about it, nor do I remember it unless someone brings it up. But I enjoyed my time. I don’t look back. If something comes up, great, we’ll talk about it. But right now, I’ve overcome”.

Several months ago, the actor was asked something similar during a conference, and his response was similar, since he assumed that Marvel Studios, if they brought back Luke CageI would do it with a completely new actor and far from what was seen on Netflix.

Likewise, Colter has revealed that there would be a possibility of returning to the Marvel arena as long as the script he receives is up to par and his return makes sense within the universe in question. However, if he returns, he would be the only one to return from the series, since we remember that the actor who played the villain was Mahershala Aliwho will play Blade in 2025.
