Twilight of the Gods, the new animated series created by Zack Snyder already has a release date and according to what was announced In a new trailer it will arrive on Netflix on September 19.
This new series was announced in 2021 and has a cast made up of Stuart Martin (Army of Thieves), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), Rahul Kohli (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead) and Corey Stoll (Ant-Man).
Twilight of the Gods will be based on Norse mythology and as Snyder pointed out a few months ago, “It’s basically this: there is a king and his queen in a small Viking village and they want to get married,” adding that “At their wedding an event happens to them that makes Sigrid, the future bride, daughter of giants, embark on a crazy mission of revenge.”
