The ‘Seinfeld’ actress admitted without hesitation that ‘Troll’ is the worst film of her career
Virtually all actors regret some of the roles they have played throughout their career. So it is also for Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who confessed without hesitation that the worst film she has ever made is ‘Torok, the troll’a film that has come to be considered cult, whose managers accused the franchise of plagiarism ‘Harry Potter’.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was recently interviewed by Seth Meyers on the occasion of the premiere of ‘Tuesday’, his new film. The ‘Veep’ actress played several drinking games with the interviewer, until they reached a round of ‘Truth or Dare’.
Meyers asked him the question: “What’s your worst movie?”. “That’s an easy one. ‘Torok, the Troll'” Louis-Dreyfus answered without hesitation. “I love ‘Torok the troll!” Meyers defended her. “Shut the fuck up,” she joked, before continuing with the game.
‘Torok, the troll’ (‘Troll’, 1986) It’s a fantasy movie directed by John Carl Buechler (director of other B series titles, such as ‘Ghoulies III’ or ‘Friday the 13th: Part 7’) and starring Noah Hathaway, who at the time played Atreyu from ‘The Neverending Story’.
Although the film grossed around $5 million worldwide (starting from a budget that barely exceeded a million, it was already quite an achievement), was massacred by the public and critics (on Rotten Tomatoes it has 28% and 30% respectively), although after the fact there are those who claim it as a classic of the genre.
The most peculiar thing about this movie is that The protagonist is a boy named Harry Potter Jr.a reason that those responsible used years later to affirm that the ‘Harry Potter’ saga had plagiarized them, not only the name but also aspects of the story, like there were magicians, trolls or that the protagonist wore a plaid shirt. Obviously, Warner Bros. and JK Rowling denied the accusations and in the end things didn’t go any further.
