Marvel’s boss confirms that the new Fantastic Four movie will be set in the 60s
Marvel Studios is slowly preparing the arrival of two franchises that will become a fundamental pillar of the company in the future. On the other hand, it is The Fantastic Foura film that hopes to be the House of Ideas’ blockbuster in 2025 and that, apparently, will be one of its most unique films.
After several months of speculation and theories, Kevin Feige has confirmed what many imagined. Through the official Marvel podcast on Spotify, Feige confirmed that the film starring Marvel’s First Family will be set in the 60s. However, he had another surprise prepared: the film will be set in an alternative universe to the MCU that we know. .
Although he did not want to offer many more details, with these revelations we can already get an idea that multiversal travel will continue to be the central axis of the saga for several more years. Everything indicates that this collapse of multiverses will reach its climax with Avengers: Secret Wars.
This story arc in the comics, in short, pitted the greatest superheroes in the universe against the greatest supervillains.
