Aware of this, Capcom joined forces with Legendary to make audiovisual productions of one of its most emblematic franchises: Street Fighter. Now, the next film of this iconic IP already has release date.
Let us remember that, in 2023, the production company Legendary Entertainment acquired the rights to the franchise to make series and films. Precisely, the first project of this new association is a live-action feature film that will be distributed by Sony Pictures.
Details about the film remain scarce, so the identity of the actors who make up the cast and the members who will work behind the scenes on the script and other sections are unknown. It was previously revealed that the brothers Danny and Michael Philippouheads of the acclaimed horror film Talk to Mewere the directors.

It seems that the film project is still in a relatively early stage, so it is unknown what the plot will be and the video game characters that will appear. With a little luck, those responsible will respect the essence of the source material and deliver a product that meets fans’ expectations.
