In a gesture that transcends what is usual on morning television, José Antonio Neme, co-host of the program “Mucho Gusto”, offered a gift full of meaning to Daniela, a passenger who was heading to Chillán in search of her stolen car months ago.
The story, which was displayed live during the broadcast on Thursday, March 28, captured not only the attention of journalist Andrés Caniulef, but also that of Neme himself and the audience.
Daniela, whose vehicle was stolen in October of last year after a family visit to a fast food restaurant in La Florida, received the news that her car had been found in Chillán.
In the middle of his story about the theft and subsequent recovery of the vehicle, Neme intervened with an unexpected proposal: give him an incense to “cleanse” his car of bad energy.
“It’s like a little bit of grass that’s in a ciborium and you burn it, and say ‘let the evil come out, let the good come in’ inside the car and it goes away,” Neme explained, generating a wave of gratitude from of Daniela.
This incense, according to the entertainer, was a gift from his personal friend Latife and now he shared it with Daniela as a symbol of good wishes and protection.
