Since the first concert she offered in CDMX, last Saturday, the singer’s followers issued very positive judgments about the quality of the show, without extolling that they had to wait more than an hour for “the material girl” to get ready. to perform “Nothing really matters”, the song that opens the concert.

But not all of her fans have been pleased with the 65-year-old singer’s current tour, since a few months ago she was sued by two fans who alleged the inconvenience caused by the recital starting three hours late. (This occurred during the December 13 show, which took place at the Barclays Center in New York.)

Now, a new class action lawsuit has been added, filed by three of his fans; Elizabeth Halper-Asefi, Mary Conoboy and Nestor Monte Jr., who purchased tickets to attend the December 18-19 shows at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, in which Madonna showed up two hours late.

On that occasion, when the “Like a virgin” singer finally appeared on stage, she joked about her delay by apologizing and immediately retracting her statement.

“I’m sorry I’m late… no, I’m not sorry, it’s what I am… I’m always late,” he said.

According to those affected, both the singer and the event’s producer, Live Nation, exercised “deceptive commercial practices, breach of contract for not starting at 8:30 p.m. and misrepresentation,” as stated in the document, to which they had access. Rolling Stone”.

They allege that they were unable to enjoy the full concert, because they had not anticipated that the start of the show would last until 10:30 p.m., which is why they felt “cheated.”

Another of the aspects exposed in the legal document is the dissatisfaction they experienced when they noticed that Madonna lip-synced with a recorded audio during almost the entire show.

The plaintiffs stated: “In essence, Madonna and Live Nation are a consumer’s worst nightmare,”

It should be noted that Elizabeth invested around 16 thousand pesos in her tickets, while Mary and Nestor spent approximately 9 thousand and 4 thousand pesos, respectively.
