The leader, vocalist, composer and guitarist of the rock band Soda Stereo gained national and international recognition and became one of the most influential artists in Latin American rock. Some time ago, the daughter of Gustavo Cerati, Lisa Cerati, gave an interview to Teleshow and told what sensations she feels about being the heir of the popular artist. The young filmmaker said: “The nice thing about having a father like that is that it allows me to continue getting to know him because there are many videos, information, songs and lyrics. From that place I continue to know him. Sometimes I identify with what I thought. “I feel like we are very similar in our way of thinking and our sense of humor.”
The music producer also spoke about her relationship with her older brother Benito, whom she considers her best friend, and revealed: “I think we enrich each other. Obviously there are moments in relationships, but it is about mutual drive, about wanting the other to improve themselves more and more.” The brothers are so close that Lisa was in charge of directing some of the young musician’s videos.
