Iron Maiden sued rapper for plagiarism and forced him to change the cover of his album

The legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden he sued the rapper for plagiarism OsamaSon and forced him to change the cover of his most recent album, Flex Musixreleased in late 2023.

It turns out that the American singer used an emblematic image of Eddie, Iron Maiden’s mascot, with slight changes; to illustrate the cover of the aforementioned album.

Although details of the lawsuit are unknown, the rapper reported on May 1 that the cover of his album would change.

“Iron Maiden is suing me so… the cover disappeared,” he posted OsamaSon in an Instagram story, tagging the official account of Iron Maiden.

On the cover of Flex Musixa character appeared identical to the illustration of Eddie, which Iron Maiden used to promote their album powerslavein 1984.

This image, used to promote – among others – the World Slavery Tour of Iron Maidentranscended time and became recurring in different ‘La Doncella’ products to date.
