The paths of rock are always mysterious and exciting. When it seemed that the departure of Erik Grönwall from the ranks of Skid Row to focus on taking care of his delicate health opened the doors for the dream comeback for fans of the vocalist of the band’s classic line-up, Sebastian Bachthe doors they have closed again for this while they opened for the arrival of a new name to the tasty cocktail, that of Lzzy Halewho seems to have also lived his own dream: “I am sending my official request to the universe that we can join forces again”he commented recently.
The powerful singer and guitarist of Halestorm was the first name that those of Rachel Bolan ran to fill Grönwall’s position at the concerts that the band had scheduledsomething that has continued for a few more concerts, about which Lzzy has left some heartfelt words in their networks in the form of an open letter to the band accompanying images of these performances.
“My soul continues to vibrate from the madness I just experienced,” begins the one who has been Skid Row’s vocalist in these last concerts. “Thank you very much to Rachel, Snake, Scotti, Rob, his incredible team and all the Skid Row fans for trusting me. Thank you for including me in your tribe and allowing me to live within your legacy for a moment. What started as friends helping friends turned into something bigger than any of us could have imagined. “I am overflowing with gratitude.”
Lzzy Hale’s words quickly make it clear that she cannot permanently commit to Skid Row at the moment, but she leaves the door open with a firm desire to repeat the experience in the future, about which she previously commented that It didn’t sound like a bad idea.: “This experience of diving headfirst into Slide Row has given me a unique opportunity to deepen my love for these men I can call friends. And the soul-bonding moments we created together musically will live with me forever.
“And while this particular time in my life prevents me from committing to a permanent role on Skid Row… I send my official request to the universe so that we can join forces again later.”
