Through social networks, the return of one of the largest festivals in Argentina, Quilmes Rock, has just been announced for April 2025 (the last edition took place in May 2022, with shows by Divididos, Nathy Peluso, Gorillaz, Trueno, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Catupecu Machu, Virus, Eruca Sativa and Las Pelotas, among many other artists).
As is usual these days, the line-up has not yet been officially announced, but in the video with which the news was released, it suggests a very ambitious special edition, with the participation of the greatest exponents of local rock mixing with the artists. that today set the pace of Argentine music.
More than twenty years after its first edition (in 2003), the festival will soon announce the release of its tickets and from this sort of “trailer” it leaves the idea that one of the most anticipated returns in recent years would be included in their poster, in addition to the occasional “return” of another classic. “We had an idea… bring together the best,” is heard at the beginning of the promotional video, with images of Charly García singing “Seminare” in the rain. And in closing, Andrés Ciro, head of Los Piojos, concludes: “Thank you very much.”
