The Billboard Latina Women in Music gala celebrates women in the music industry. This year Karol G will be part of those honored with the “Woman of the Year” award, which in the previous edition was awarded to Shakira. Other winners this year are Ana Bárbara, who is celebrating her 30-year career and will receive the “Musical Career” award, Kany García will receive “Spirit of Change,” “for her promotion of positive changes within music and her defending important social causes, including LGBTQ+ rights, gender equality and social justice,” according to a statement.

Gloria Estefan will be awarded the “Leyenda” award, while Ángela Aguilar will receive the “Musical Dynasty” recognition, “for preserving the roots and traditions of her family heritage.” The event “will feature impactful performances, captivating tributes and unmissable surprises in celebration of Latin American women artists, who work proactively to generate positive changes in the music industry.”

Where and at what time can you see Billboard Latin Women in Music 2024?

The event will take place this Sunday, June 9. The broadcast of the red carpet and the ceremony will be done jointly between Telemundo Internacional and E! Entertainment.

The broadcast will begin at 8:00 pm, Colombia time, although the awards ceremony will be seen only on the Telemundo Internacional signal. Know the channel number according to the different television operators:
