Notes From a Quiet Life is the new studio album of Washed Outthe project of musician and producer Ernest Greene. Influenced by the paintings and sculptures of artists such as Donald Judd, Cy Twombly, Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, Greene presents a reflective work about change and the enjoyment of the creative process.

“I’ve read that every five, maybe ten years, you’re practically a different person — literally, on a cellular level,” the musician explains. “The things you go through will end up changing you and you’re kind of a different person. This album is a reflection of that.”
