In order to continue promoting culture and promote access to quality musical training in the public institutions of Cartagenathe companies Promigas, Surtigas and SPEC LNG they join the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra to launch the “Armonía en PROgreso” program, which will benefit about 50 young people in the township The Mouthpiece.

The program, which begins in July and ends at the end of November this year, aims to convert the existing musical group into the La Boquilla Technical Educational Institutionin two groups of wind instruments: one with a traditional symphonic character and the other with jazz.

The Cartagena Symphony Orchestra (OSC), is a project that focuses on the orchestral experience as an instrument of social, cultural and educational growth. In his eight years of working with the city’s youth, he maintains the conviction that the values ​​of symphonic musical training such as discipline, teamwork and coexistence are tools of transformation and social progress.
