Presented to the world at the Mobile World Congress 2024, the HONOR Pad 9 and HONOR Pad X9 tablets are now available in Chile. The new tablets from the Asian company are a flexible technological element, since they can be used for work or entertainment. More modern, versatile and powerful is the HONOR Pad 9
The new HONOR Pad 9 is the company’s workhorse in the tablet segment. This includes eye-catching features such as a 12.1-inch screen with 2.5K resolution at a 120 Hz refresh rate. Added to the above are TUV Rheinland certifications for low blue light eye protection and no flicker.
In terms of performance, the HONOR Pad 9 includes a 4-nanometer Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with 8 cores up to 2.2 GHz. This SoC is 40% faster in CPU and 35% faster in GPU compared to the SD 695 of the model previous (HONOR Pad 8). Added to this are also 8 GB of RAM expandable up to 8 GB more with HONOR RAM Turbo, allowing great multitasking capacity. It also includes an internal memory of 256 GB, which is enough to save all types of files.
The new HONOR tablet also incorporates a 13 Megapixel rear camera with autofocus, while the front one is 8 MP. While on the sound side, the tablet has 8 speakers for surround sound.
If we talk about autonomy, the HONOR Pad 9 has an 8,300 mAh battery compatible with 35 W fast charging. On the software side, from the factory it has Android 13 under the MagicOS 7.2 customization layer.
All of the above is concentrated in a device that has a modern and slim design with a thickness of only 6.96 millimeters and a weight of 555 grams. The suggested price of this device is CLP $399,990 and can be found in the HONOR online store.
Another tablet to captivate all budgets
Along with the flagship of the Asian company’s tablets, the HONOR Pad X9 is the younger brother and comes at a more affordable price. This tablet has more modest features, but is still just as striking compared to other competitors.
The HONOR Pad
On the performance side, it has a 6-nanometer Snapdragon 685 processor with 8 cores that reach up to 2.8 GHz. The tablet also has 4 GB of RAM expandable to 3 GB more with HONOR RAM Turbo and has 128 GB of internal storage.
The device has 5 Megapixel front and rear cameras, its 7250 mAh battery allows up to 13 hours of autonomy and turns out to be an excellent device for study or entertainment.
Other elements that the HONOR Pad X9 has are its 6 speakers for surround sound, Wi-Fi 5 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.1. The operating system that controls all functions is Android 13 with the HONOR layer called MagicOS 7.1.
