As confirmed by the specialized media 9to5Google, the Google Play Store has just been updated with a functionality that allows you to download two applications at the same time.

As you can see in the screenshots that we leave you below these lines, you can now download and install two video editing apps such as Adobe Express and InShot at the same timeso that, from now on, you will no longer have to wait for the download of the first to complete for the second to begin.

Of course, you should know that this simultaneous download of applications is limited to a maximum number of 2 appsbecause if you try to download a third one it does not start until one of the other two finishes, and it is only available for new installations, since, at least for now, does not support app updates.

This new function of the Google app store has begun to be deployed as of version 40.6.31 of the Play Store and it should now be available to all users with Android 14 and earlier versions.
