Presenter Carla Giraldo, from The House of the Famous Colombia, recalled a sentimental situation in which her ex-partner physically attacked her: “It was a hard, tense and ugly courtship.”

Carla Giraldo, renowned actress and presenter of “The House of the Famous Colombia”, revealed the details of the chapter of her life in which she was a victim of physical and psychological abuse by a former romantic partner. In a brave confession, Ella Giraldo recounted how she suffered in silence for years, until she finally decided to flee that toxic relationship.

In a conversation with Bocas magazine, Giraldo shared details of the difficult relationship he had with his ex-partner, “his name was Eduardo, it was a hard, tense and ugly courtship, until I decided to run away.” Despite the physical and emotional attacks he suffered, Giraldo confessed that it took him several years to recover psychologically and free himself from the feeling of guilt.

I have always had to run away from problems like this, drastically,” said Giraldo.

After several years of silence, Giraldo felt that the time had come to share her experience to inspire other women to speak out and stop gender violence. “I said no more,” she stated determinedly. She recognized that reporting the aggressor is not always easy and that many women, like her, feel trapped in an internal struggle marked by fear and guilt.
