NINE AMERICAN TEAMS QUALIFIED TO PARIS IS THE BALANCE OF THE WORLD RELAY WORLD CUP
The United States was the big winner of the weekend by qualifying 4 of its teams for the Olympic Games. Canada and the Dominican Republic also signed up with tickets to Paris at this party that was held on the beautiful Caribbean island, Bahamas.
The Bahamas visited this weekend to host the 2024 World Relay Championship, qualifying for Paris 2024.
With music, rhythm and Caribbean traditions, this competition was held with the United States as the main protagonist.
Team USA achieved an outstanding performance, qualifying in the 4x100m for women and men, 4×400 mixed relay and 4×400 women. Of all the competitions held over the weekend, he was only left out in the men’s 4×400.
Canada is another country on the continent that made significant profits in the Bahamas. Having brought his best athletes led him to qualify in the men’s and women’s 4x100m and the 4x400m.
The last Panam Sports country to take a quota to Paris were the world champions and Olympic medalists, the 4x400m mixed relay from the Dominican Republic.
The Caribbean thanks to the finish of our Team Panam Sports ambassador, Marileidy Paulino, who led her team in the last relay of the first series to go from fifth to second place, achieving second place and also automatic qualification to Paris. The overall winner of that competition in the grand final was Team USA with 3:10.73, a mark that constitutes a new championship record.
