This Sunday, May 12, is Mother’s Day and what better way for daughters and sons to give their parents (or adoptive mothers) gifts associated with well-being and technology. In Chile, according to the study “Women and Consumption Survey” by the National Consumer Service, Sernac, 41% of women buy or contract products and services from the technology industry.

To date, Signify, a global leader in smart lighting, offers the consumer market a range of IoT products such as WiZ Connected, easy-to-use software solutions that provide smart lighting. The brand has a complete variety of LED bulbs, luminaires and accessories for use in home spaces.

“They are real lights that paint the walls; They create cozy or relaxing environments that even match moods. The lights can be configured with your cell phone through the WiZ app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and/or Google Play,” says Paula Riveros, Signify Product Manager for South America.

The executive adds that “in this way, you can create appropriate environments, configure adjustable wireless dimming of warm and cold light, preset light modes with millions of colors. All this, through WiZ App, which has a very intuitive interface and ideal for everyday life.”

The functionalities allow you to program and control the lights inside or outside the home; They can also be turned on, off, dim or change the tone, through Google Assistant, Alexa or Siri.

WiZ Connected features SpaceSense Wi-Fi; This technology allows the lights to detect and avoid unforeseen activities. “I love to say that they are lights that work like magic. The lights act as a motion sensor: they turn on automatically when you enter the room and turn off when you leave,” explains the Signify professional.
