The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Monsignor Jorge García Cuerva, criticized the chants against the president Javier Milei in masses, among them one that became a Kirchnerist militant act, shouting “The Homeland is not for sale” in the middle of the ceremony. García Cuerva said: “It’s not good use the mass to divide, to fragment, to partisan”, when leading a ceremony in the San Ildefonso parish in Palermo.

The archbishop of Buenos Aires said: “The Eucharist is something sacred. That is why the mass is something sacred, because it is in the deepest core of the faith of our people. Here we come to feed on unit, of brotherhood, of peace. Therefore, it is not good to use the mass to divide, to fragment, to partisan. It is not good to use the mass so that we end up separated as brothers.”

García Cuerva considered: “It is also not good to count on the good faith of those who participate in the Eucharist or of the priests who are invited to preside over it so that it can later pass.” what has happened these days, How did it happen to Monsignor? Gustavo Carrara. Therefore, the mass is something sacred, the mass is to unite us, the mass is to make us brothers, the mass is to feed us and witnesses of the kingdom in the streets.”

  • The vicar general of Buenos Aires cited a reflection of the Pope Francisco: “For many the policy today is a bad word, and it cannot be ignored that behind this fact are often the errors, corruption and inefficiency of some politicians.”
  • In turn, the president of the Argentine Episcopal Conference (CEA), Monsignor Oscar Ojea, explained in his account x before mass Mothers of the Nation which will lead: “We do not plan to invite any politician to this Mass because we do not want something so typical of human beings, which does not belong to any particular political sector, to be used in any way.” The ceremony will be in recognition of the work of the women that hold the dining rooms of the popular neighborhoods and will take place next Wednesday at 11:00 in La Matanza.
