For key six, played in the Japanese city of Fukuoka, Italy beat Serbia 3-1 with scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-23 and 25-22, the United States defeated Japan 3-0 (25- 15, 25-18 and 26-24) and Holland against South Korea in three sets (25-21, 25-11 and 25-17).
Brazil will seek its ticket to the semifinals against Thailand on Thursday and that same Italy will face the United States.
On Friday the quarterfinal duels will be completed with the matches between China-Japan and Poland-Türkiye.
