There are almost 37,350 Palestinians killed during the Israeli military siege against Gaza

Israel has once again escalated its attacks in the occupied Gaza Strip as Palestinian Muslims celebrate the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha.

The authorities of the Gaza Strip this Monday raised to almost 37,350 the number of Palestinians murdered, including more than 15,700 children, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on Palestinian territory more than eight months ago.

“The toll of Israeli aggression has increased to 37,347 martyrs and 85,372 wounded,” said the Gaza Ministry of Health in a statement.

“The Israeli occupation committed two massacres against families in Gaza during the last 24 hours, with ten dead and 73 injured,” he said.

“We ask the families of the martyrs and those missing in the war in Gaza to complete their data by registering through a link to complete all the data in the records of the Ministry of Health,” he added.

The entity recalled that there are an undetermined number of victims “under the rubble and on the roads.” The Gaza authorities have put the missing persons at nearly 10,000.

For its part, the press office of the Gaza authorities indicated that among the deceased there are more than 15,700 children, including 33 who “have fallen martyrs due to hunger.”

In addition to nearly 500 health workers, 70 Civil Defense workers and 151 journalists, including Mahmud Qasem, who died in the last few hours.

Thus, he accused the Israeli Army of committing 3,315 “massacres” since the beginning of what he describes as a “genocidal war” and noted that so far 520 bodies have been recovered in seven mass graves found inside hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

According to a statement published through his Telegram account, “70 percent of the victims are children and women,” he stressed, while emphasizing that 17,000 children “live without one of their parents or without both,” with 3,500 minors “at risk of death due to malnutrition and lack of food.”

In addition, he indicated that 12,000 injured people “need to travel to receive treatment abroad.”

The Gaza authorities have also indicated that 10,000 cancer patients “are exposed to death” and that 3,000 patients with “various diseases” also need to be evacuated to receive treatment abroad, although the Rafah crossing was closed by Israel after take the Palestinian side of the crossing during the day of May 7.

On the other hand, they have raised the number of people suffering from “infectious diseases due to displacement” to nearly 1,480,000 and have stressed that 60,000 pregnant women are at risk due to the lack of adequate medical care, a situation similar to that experienced by 350,000 patients. chronic “due to impediments in the entry of medications.”

Additionally, they stated that 5,000 people were detained in Gaza by Israeli troops, including 310 medical workers and 21 journalists, while two million people were displaced from their homes, many of them repeatedly, due to the offensive. Israel’s military, which has also left 33 hospitals and 64 medical centers “out of service.”

During the day, the Israeli Army stated that it continues operations in the city of Rafah, located on the border with Egypt, where “they have destroyed several buildings with booby-trapped bombs that posed a threat.” Likewise, he stressed that several “terrorists” were “eliminated” in attacks carried out during the last day in the center of the Gaza Strip.
