Brazil and Peru occupied two of the first three places among the countries with the most app installations

Samsung surpassed the goal of 36 million downloads of the “Try Galaxy” app worldwide. Latin America stood out for occupying two of the top three places this year. Brazil ranked second in the world, being responsible for 15% of all application installations. In sequence, Peru came in third place, with almost 7% of the downloads.

Try Galaxy allows users to immersively test the features of the One UI 6.1 interface, having access to the latest Samsung Galaxy technology and innovations, even on devices from other brands.

“The platform has been very important for new users to discover the full potential of Samsung innovations, such as Galaxy AI, our artificial intelligence technology. Interestingly, since the launch of the Galaxy S24, we have had an increase of more than 18 million new users, a figure five times greater than last year. “This demonstrates consumer enthusiasm for the AI capabilities of the Galaxy line,” the company explained.

Expansion to the business context

Aiming to allow users to test Galaxy devices in their business contexts, Samsung now offers “Try Galaxy for Work.” Customized to meet B2B needs, the app offers specialized content and workplace solutions. Try Galaxy for Work is currently available in English in select countries, but will soon roll out to Latin America.
