‘Hermes’, 50 years old, is accused – according to the dossier against him, to which EL TIEMPO had access – of selective homicides, drug trafficking, illegal mining and recruitment of minors.

In fact, the head of the dissidents had a current arrest warrant from the First Municipal Itinerant Court for Control of Guarantees of Pasto.

In addition, he was involved in a judicial process with Prosecutor’s Office 104 of the department of Nariño for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, manufacturing, carrying and trafficking weapons, ammunition and explosives.

Within the dossier against him, it is indicated that he was part of the 29th Front of the extinct FARC for more than eight years. There he would have acquired experience in the planning and execution of terrorist actions. In 2016, he joined the peace process and was part of the signatories of the Agreement.

Later he entered the Betania Transitory Local Normalization Zone, located in a rural area of ​​the municipality of Policarpa, Nariño; apparently this man, according to sources, “Even though he was in the process, he would never have stopped carrying out his criminal activities against the civilian population and the Public Force.”
