Matanzas shakes the Athens Rock Festival – Juventud Rebelde

MATANZAS.— With the presence of eleven Cuban bands and six foreign bands, the 25th edition of the Atenas Rock Festival was inaugurated today in the Plaza de la Vigía, which will run until June 29, sponsored by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS).

Yadiel Durán Bencosme, president of the AHS in Matanzas, said that this event is protected by the organization because of the number of lovers of the genre and musicians who validate the quality of the meeting.

One of the purposes of this edition is to expand the audience, not just to concerts and tattoo exhibitions, but to add other artists who connect from their visions with rock and the festival, said Durán Bencosme.

There will be film screenings, openings of photography and tattoo exhibitions, literary events, the presentation of magazines from the Generación Rock project and a live display of visual artists.
