A total of 164 restaurants and food establishments have been awarded in the four categories of Michelin Star Awards in 2024. Vietnam has a restaurant (Nen Danang, in the city of Da Nang) with the title of Michelin Green Star, whose objective is to develop sustainable cuisine, according to the Nhan Dan electronic newspaper.

This year, seven restaurants were awarded a Michelin star for “high-quality food, worthy of diners stopping to enjoy”: Akuna and The Royal Pavilion in Ho Chi Minh City, La Maison 1888 in Da Nang and Anan Saigon, Gia, Hibana by Koki and Tam Vi in Hanoi.

On this occasion, the culinary guide Michelin Guide awarded the Young Chef Excellence, Wine Taster and Dedication Award.
