This morning snowfall was recorded nearly Mar del Plata within the framework of the polar wave coming from Patagonia that put a large part of Argentina on alert. The affected areas were Sierra de los Padres and Batán, towns near the coastal city.

The cold front will extend over the weekend and the first days of next week, even reaching the north of the country.
