The Joint Venture agreement offers numerous reciprocal benefits for Delta Skymiles and Latam Pass members. In addition to the accumulation of miles, Delta Skymiles can redeem on flights operated by LATAM and, in the coming months, Latam Pass partners can do so on flights operated by Delta; significantly expanding travel options between North and South America.
In addition, elite members will enjoy mutual benefits, such as access to the VIP VIP rooms of Delta Sky Club and Latam Lounge, the recognition of their status in both airlines, with their respective complementary luggage options and selection of seats without costs, among others. This agreement improves the travel experience by providing greater connectivity and comfort to the frequent passengers of both companies.
IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTIVITY
Likewise, this expansion will improve connectivity for customers that transport load between the United States/Canada and Argentina, offering integrated solutions, both in passenger aircraft and charger, with more flight options, connections and benefits within the geographical area contemplated.
Today Delta and Latam have obtained the last previous regulatory approval required to implement the incorporation of Argentina into the JV. Likewise, companies have already notified the operation for their post implementation evaluation by the National Commission for the Defense of Competition in Argentina.
