“Bulls for Antitaurinos”it has about eight hundred pages –ilustradas with more than one hundred and fifty drawings of your own Aranguren-, which show all possible faces of bullfighting. It is aimed at both fans and profane, because “The Festival of Bulls should not defend it but to explain it, even those antitourines who accept the proposal to sit peacefully to read”says the author.
The book begins with a prologue from the riojano matador Diego Urdialeswhich explains: «When Miguel Aranguren encouraged me to prologize his book, I remembered so many runs to which I invited people manifestly contrary to the party, to share the afternoon by my side. And my experience is very similar to what these pages collect: a reasoned explanation of each moment of the fight is enough for the one who does not like bulls, leaves the square perhaps without having changed my mind, but satisfied to have found the reasons why the bullfighter is willing to measure his value with a very dangerous animal, with the sole purpose of creating and transmitting beauty. And I assure that there have been many, many, who have become common spectators, and even magnificent fans ».
