After eight seasons in the now first Feb, the UMC RVB consumed its descent to second Feb after an aciaga night in every way. Before the Hestia Menorca, in a duel to all or nothing and with life at stake, the Blanquivioleta painting did not offer a good version and always traded the rival, which had more success and managed much better the physical and emotional appearance until the victory and permanence with total justice were taken. The Vallisoletanos were denied in the shot (6/29 triples) and ended broken, literally and mentally, until certifying the defeat that consumes the descent (65-77).
And the truth is that it was not the day in every way. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong, although in Pisuerga 6500 people gathered with a reception at the height of the party. But since the ball was thrown into the air, it was Hestia Menorca who better managed the aspects that opted the game, especially the success and emotional in the critical moments.
At the beginning of nerves, logical for what was at stake, the first possessions resulted in failures on both sides of the track. The gunner Jalen Cone put the first one in the game and opened the can of three, but Jaan Puidet then also scored looking for the hoop and premiered the Pucela (2-3). That tension kept the home-on-sized premises for several possessions, stretch that the islanders took advantage of to take the first advantage of the game after another triple by David Gómez and a ‘two plus one’ of the incombustible Arteaga (2-9). Since then they did not give it to it.
In the first five minutes the ski dots balance was poor, very poor with 4 points, which kept the Menorcans with a good rent (4-12). Little by little, Alejandro Paniagua’s painting and the poor shooting of shooting, perhaps due to the excess of impetus and revolutions, was released, the speed that the Castilians wanted to impose. Thus, the partial comeback was forged with a good defensive level that allowed to run and add in transition.
Imposing that rhythm the EMC Pucela Basket put two (10-12) with the second unit on the court, also putting into bonus To the visitors, who ended up the first quarter with 8 personal. That work of peak and shovel, of stealing and getting revenue with the free throws, allowed the Valladolid to save the first dangerous disadvantage and finish the first assault with technical draw (19-19). Tables in the first assault.
That equality remained and in that stretch of alternation the Pucela enjoyed its first advantage after a new positive action under the hoop (24-23). The power wing, a reef near the painting, was erected as a source of points and offenses that the locals took advantage of. But those of Javi Zamora were not intimidated by the environment or by the local reaction. A Triple of Cone put the islanders ahead (24-26), although he united his third personal fault and ended in the bank. It was not a handicap For those of Bintaufa.
Initially that absence did not translate into the scoreboard, but over the minutes they ended up putting land in between. Hestia Menorca maintained a very high success level from the perimeter and his seventh triple (of 11 attempts, for the 1/8 local), preceded the first half of the contest. Alejandro Paniagua asked for the truce with 24-32 and six remaining minutes for rest to move token and counteract the Menorcans, playing better basketball, moving the ball and finding good shooting situations. The reaction did not arrive and just three minutes later, the local coach had to stop it again with the visitors recovering the +10 (26-36).
Without defense, the EMC RVB could not run and without counterattacks, I did not see how to write down. Stressed, the Castilians suffered a lot in the second quarter against a fantastic Hestia Menorca, who played very loose and found the success of the success. And with everything and with that, without brightness or success, the Castilians found a little spark when the first part languished until the disadvantage was cut to only five points (31-36). The best news was that, precisely, that with an abysmal difference in the shot (2/14 by 7/15 in triples), the disadvantage was only five.
The EMC RVB, broken, consumes the descent
But it was not enough comfort. You had to improve a lot to turn the situation around and it was not so. To pull, without finding continuity and tied with the rhythm imposed by a Hestia Menorca sheltered in the area in the absence of external success, the blanquivioleta could not unblock the offensive. In fact, the second triple of the Pucela arrived after 25 minutes of the game, the work of a Mike Torres who scored two in a row to start the nth but no last tracing conato (41-45).
But the foreigners always found solutions and replica in the absence of local continuity. Sergio Llorente, three, and McDonnell, with one two plus one, gave another mazazo to an EUMC RVB that was bound to row again. And impotent in the absence of rhythm and chain three or four positive actions. A tow, without giving up and trying in all possible ways, those of Alejandro Paniagua were entering the reserve and playing against the chrono. In the absence of 10 minutes to be played, with everything at stake, the disadvantage was 7 (50-57 and a 4/21 devastating in triples).
Samkelo Cele threw the team behind his back and tried to lead the comeback, scoring eight almost consecutive points to light Pisuerga (58-61), which finally received a little of his own. It was the first great part of the game, and Javi Zamora stopped it with a dead time that ended up being a capital. Shouted from ‘Yes you can’, it gave the feeling that it was a ‘now or never’ for the impetus of that section, but, again and with a position, the Somnifer Menorquín arrived. Pol Figueras of three and two other free throws from Jalen Cone, back on the rested parquet, knocked back to the Spanish team (60-66).
And there they ended up dying the blanquiviolet options. The UMC RVB began to chain bad decisions, bad possessions with losses that Hestia Menorca ended up profiting to the fullest. Up to four attacks ended in Limbo and those of Javi Zamora stretched, also exceeding the 67 points that invalidated a defeat for two points favorable for the Pucela. Thus, it was only worth winning or losing one. But neither one, nor the other.
Hestia Menorca put the lace with a triple by Sean McDonnell in the absence of 1:21 (62-69) that ended with all the Pucela options. Despite continuing to try with heart but without success, the Balearic Islands opened a gap and ended up sentenceing from the personnel line, without forgiving or giving opportunities.
The UMC RVB ended up falling by 65-77, broken in every way, with most blanquiviolet players injured or dragging physical problems, lying on the ground in the benches area; and also emotionally seeing how the descent to Second Feb was consummated. Hestia Menorca, with total merit, assaulted a Pisuerga sports center to the flag and will continue in the Second Division of National Basketball one more season.
