Castelló. Two of the most popular writers in our country, Javier Sierra y Gabás Luzthey have starred in the penultimate day of the 41 Fira del Llibre de Castelló. Again Santa Clara square has become a hotbed of readers who have not hesitated to make up to three hours of tail to get the signing of the two Planeta Awards (2017 and 2022).
The Turolense journalist has included the capital of La Plana within the extensive national tour of ‘The Master Plan’, the continuation of his bestseller The Master of El Prado ‘. For his part, the author of the successful ‘palm trees in the snow’ or ‘far from Lousiana’, has participated in a round table of historical novels, next to the writers José Luis Corral y Basil Trilles. The day has been completed with the presence of other outstanding authors such as Pere Cervantes, Magda Simó, Rosa Ribas o Bibiana Collado.
The Councilor for Culture, María Spainhe has not hidden his satisfaction “because all the forecasts have been overflowed, both for the sale of books and readers assistance. Anyone can check it if he approaches a house and asks those responsible. Designing a fair like this, in record time, has been a very hard work but has been worth it. It was a historical fair for being the first one that was organized from the City Council of Castelló and now we can say that it has already been success”.
For the last Sunday day, children’s workshops, storytelling, a poetic recital of the Castellón Alcap association or the writers of ‘Pont Cooperativa de Llestres’ have been scheduled. The fair will close its doors at 8 pm, 00 hours, after nine intense days and 5,000 people of assistance only in their first weekend.
