Inauguration of the Russian Book Library at the Hotel Galina

Delegates donate books to the Russian book library.

The Russian book library exhibits hundreds of books in Russian and Vietnamese, at the service of Russian culture lovers. The books are classified by themes: literature, history, science, children’s stories … In particular, there are many classic works of famous writers such as: Lev Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Alexander Pushkin, Sergey Yesenin, Nikolai Ostrovski … In addition, the library also exhibits a statue of Lenin and statues of 5 writers and typical Russian poets. Here are also numerous publications that present the Russian revolution and the process of construction of modern Russia. On this occasion, some delegates donated books to enrich the library collection.

Mr. Le Xuan Thom, general director of Hai Dang Company Limited, presented a Russian literary publication to the delegates.

When speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Thom, general director of Hai Dang Company Limited, shared: He lived in Russia for many years and always had a deep affection for this country. The construction of the Russian book library at the Hotel Galina is a personal passion, with the aim of creating a unique cultural destination in the heart of the coastal city of Nha Trang, contributing to the cultural bridge between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Mr. Iurii Nemtsov, attached general consul of the Russian Federation in Ciudad Ho Chi Minh, highly thanked Hai Dang Company Limited. Ho Chi Minh emphasized: in the context in which the culture of reading is increasingly pressured by new forms of entertainment, the creation of the Russian book library with many valuable and rich works in humanity will contribute to nourishing souls and ideals of life for young generation. This is also a space to connect people who love Russian culture, contributing to strengthen friendship between both peoples.
