In the Agora Charra, the literary atmosphere is already palpated, the details are being finalized to inaugurate on Saturday the 43rd Municipal Book Fair that will be held until May 28.
The Plaza Mayor becomes an outdoor library every year and this year with a very special protagonist for Salamanca, Carmen Martín Gaite.
In addition to five bookstores, twelve publishers and four institutions, around this municipal fair turn many activities that have been scheduled. Encounters with writers, presentations and signatures of books, exhibitions, live music and activities for kids, all with the aim of promoting reading.
For the booksellers, the Municipal Book Fair is a party around literature where visitors enjoy books, look and acquire specimens while enjoying culture in the form of music, talks or theater.
